Praying is a strange thing to some people, myself included. Maybe you don't pray, but if I were going to answer the question, "what should we be praying for"? Thanks and mercy I would say.

Thanks for everything we have, the tools, the knowledge, and mercy that we can find peace.

We're leaving so much to waste.

This video is from the 1960's. Look at how much "progress" there's been. If there was any question why he was murdered it should be clear now.

"What does the future look like if we continue on this current path"?

How did our trouble come so quickly that suddenly nothing is certain? Ironically the only certainty seems to be uncertainty. What does the future look like if we continue on this current path? Even if we don't, what if nothing changes? How much damage will be done? Who feels good about what's going on in our country right now? If nothing else what is the price of lost optimism? if there's nothing to look forward too, what is there?

The path out of this is clear. The question is, do enough people have the courage to do it. Here's what Thomas Paine had to say about risk and reward.

Men were originally created equal, and that quality could only be destroyed by some subsequent circumstance. That some people are rich and some are poor is explainable even though it follows misery and oppression. Selfish preservation is what keeps a man from being so poor he's destitute, but it's also what makes him fearful of taking the risks needed to be wealthy.

We're living in an age of unparalleled progress and yet people are united firmly around one thing, MISERY. And it's because progress and progressivism are two radically different things.
