Good morning, this is my weekly report. A brief look at the big stories for the week.

So that you can have a philosophical understanding of the big events. If don’t agree with me, I’d like to hear your argument. You can leave me a message at christopherscottshow.com.

This week there are 5 stories I want to discuss:

The school shooting in Texas

What a tragedy that didn’t need to happen. Hopefully we can all agree on that. What’s the cause of these shootings and how do we prevent it? Hopefully we call agree on that as well.

As far as the media is concerned that’s where the conversation ends, because the simple answer is to get rid of guns. They don’t say that, they say responsible gun laws. How about responsible to lock the door laws? How does a school defend the decision to leave doors unlocked while school is in session? Do you realize how tragic this story could have ended if the perpetrator had gasoline and a match with him? Doesn’t that illustrate the importance of securing the building?

We don’t hear about shootings in court houses, or police stations. There’s also never school shootings in crime ridden inner city schools. You never hear about school shootings in Chicago or New York City or even Los Angeles. Why is that? The answer is simple, in every one of those cases the buildings are secure.
